This conference organized by Yamhill Community Care Organization will bring together various partners who are invested in the success of local families, including health care providers, educators, social and human service providers, the faith community, the business community, and law enforcement. Together, we’ll explore how early childhood events and trauma play out across the lifespan and discover ways we can strengthen families.

FREE REGISTRATION: Conference is free, but registration is required. Registration will remain open until April 10th.

OBJECTIVES:

  • Describe ways trauma affects people developmentally, psychologically and physiologically.
  • Discuss strategies to reduce the likelihood of re-traumatization and to build resiliency as a community.
  • Develop action steps to implement trauma-informed practices in the workplace.
