DESCRIPTION:Divining Liberation is a 4-part gathering focused on personal and collective freedom\, well-being\, and growth through cultural traditions and heritage. It highlights practices that have helped communities thrive and sustain resilience. \nParticipants will explore how people of color and culture live liberation and growth\, drawing on ancestral knowledge. Discussions will reconnect us with cultural strengths and inspire new approaches to liberation. \nOur gathering will also examine how these ideas can influence organizations\, creating spaces where cultural strengths are recognized and celebrated. \nThere is a 40-seat registration limit and we would like participants to attend all 4 event dates. \nJanuary 8th\, 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm PST\nJanuary 15th\, 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm PST\nJanuary 22nd\, 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm PST\nJanuary 29th\, 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm PST \n\n\n \nAndrea Redeau MA\, LPC\nAndrea Redeau\, MA\, LPC is a Portland-based clinician\, organizational trainer\, and D.E.I consultant who specializes in the areas of mental health\, addiction\, clinical supervision\, and social justice. She holds a Master of Arts in Professional Mental Health Counseling & Addictions Studies\, followed with a decade-long career in serving individuals impacted by substance abuse and mental health conditions. Her practice\, Uniquely You Counseling\, LLC\, serves dual diagnosis clients and provides workshops in addiction studies to local agencies and community members. \n\n\n \nSteffannie Roaché MS\, LPC\nSteffannie Roaché\, MS\, LPC\, is an Assistant Professor of Practice at Trauma Informed Oregon and Portland State University with a focus on workforce wellness\, equity and inclusion through representation and power-sharing within systems\, and the promotion of resources that support healing for communities affected by racialized and historical forms of trauma. She has over 20 years of experience providing trainings focused on resilience\, trauma informed care\, and culturally centered practices\, and nearly 10 years of counseling within group and private practices. Steffannie has contracted with large and small organizations for workforce wellness\, TIC\, and DEI offerings. Her life’s passion is to work hand-in-hand with community partners to uplift hope\, healing\, and social justice within systems. \n\n\nRegistration is closed\, as this event series has passed or is underway.
