SUMMARY:Somatic Moment 2025-2026 — Exploration of Movement\, Breath and Integration
DESCRIPTION:Date/Time:\nMonday\, September 8\, 2025\, 4pm-5pm PT\nMonday\, November 10\, 2025\, 4pm-5pm PT\nMonday\, February 9\, 2026\, 4pm-5pm PT \nThis 3-part experiential series\, hosted by hosted by Marisol Rascon\, is designed to help deepen embodied awareness while engaging with core principles of movement\, breath\, and energy regulation. Each session offers a layered experience: physical movement to support structural and energetic alignment\, guided breathwork to attune to the nervous system\, and space for personal reflection that supports clinical insight and practitioner presence. \nThis series invites you to return to your own body as a source of information\, grounding\, and intuitive knowing — tools essential for therapeutic attunement and resilience. \nClass 1: Grounded Power – Resourcing Through the Lower Body\nExplore the structural and energetic foundations of the body—legs\, hips\, and pelvis — as a source of internal support and grounding. Through mindful movement and breath\, we’ll focus on cultivating lower body awareness to enhance proprioception\, cultivate stability\, mobility\, and a felt sense of grounding. Reflection will highlight how our base influences emotional resilience and energetic containment. \nFocus: Root and sacral chakras; down-regulation and support. Containment\, safety\, orientation\, boundary awareness. \nClass 2: Open Expression – Regulating Through the Upper Body\nThis session brings awareness to the upper body — chest\, shoulders\, arms\, and neck — as a bridge between internal experience and external expression. We’ll explore breath and movement sequences that support heart-space openness\, expressive pathways\, and embodied listening. Reflection will address how these areas relate to voice\, communication\, and receptivity. \nFocus: Heart and throat chakras; midline breath and expansion. Expression\, emotional regulation. \nClass 3: Integrated Presence – Whole-Body Coherence\nIn this final session\, we’ll weave lower and upper body awareness into a fluid\, integrative practice. Emphasis will be placed on whole-body coordination\, vertical alignment\, and breath as a unifying thread. Movement will flow more fluidly from head to toe\, supported by breath and energy alignment to promote a balanced state of presence. Guided reflection will help integrate insights from the series\, offering tools to embody wholeness both on and off the mat. \nFocus: Full chakra alignment; central channel and relational field. Integration\, coherence. \nEach class includes:\n– Guided movement and somatic tracking\n– Breathwork for regulation and energetic flow\n– Space for reflection and practitioner insight \nThere are currently no Somatic Moment events available for registration. Please check back for upcoming dates. Thank you.

SUMMARY:Somatic Moment 2025 - Public
DESCRIPTION:February – June 2025: Foundations of Trauma Informed Embodiment explores the building blocks of how we\, as mammals\, sense and engage with our environment in a body-based way. Using low impact somatics\, we traverse the regulatory sequence of presencing and sensing\, orienting to our environment\, mobilizing for and taking action\, making connection with the environment and discharging the energy we’ve mobilized.
