Trauma Informed Oregon (TIO) is committed to increasing training capacity in Oregon. The Train the Trainer experience has the potential to streamline knowledge, build a trainer community, and provide technical assistance and support.

Key TIO components to include when providing Foundations of Trauma Informed Care training:

• Opportunities to make the training relevant to you and your industry
• Adult learning and facilitation best practices
• Notes from the field, including how/when to modify the training
• Opportunities to practice delivering a portion of the training and receive/provide feedback.

Please note that TIO’s Train the Trainer is not a certification program or formal endorsement by TIO, but instead an opportunity to inform your facilitation and training, and connect with folks who are also interested in implementing the training in their communities.
