To help people interested in trauma informed care across Oregon connect and share resources, we have a Discussion Forum on the TIO site. To prevent spam we require that all users register before being able to post to the Discussion Forum. When you register to join the TIO Discussion Forum we collect a username, first name, and email address from you. We also collect your IP address to help with spam detection. This data along with the submitted user information is stored indefinitely but can be exported and removed upon request by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. A user may delete their profile and any content they’ve posted at any time by logging in to the Discussion Forum and going to their profile. If you would like to be removed from the Discussion Forum at any time email us at email@example.com. Note that if you upload images to the Discussion Forum, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
So that you can be in touch with us about our Training Modules we have a specific firstname.lastname@example.org email account. Only TIO staff have access to this email account. Submitted information is stored indefinitely on the email@example.com email account but can be deleted by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We also have quizzes as a part of the Training Modules so that users can test their knowledge before filling out the Completion Certificate. If you enter your email address at the top of the interactive quiz these results are emailed securely to you. In order to distinguish individual users, your IP address is collected and stored with the responses you submit to the quiz. These results are occasionally used for analytic purposes so that we can continue to improve the Training Modules. When this data is collected it is separated from the user’s name and email address and only collected in aggregate. Your email address and quiz results are stored indefinitely on the backend of the site so that we can re-send the results to you if you need them. This information can be deleted at any time by emailing us at email@example.com.
We have a feedback survey at the end of the Training Modules so that we can continue to improve this service. The feedback is sent securely to firstname.lastname@example.org. Only TIO staff have access to this email account. Submitted information is stored indefinitely on the email@example.com email account but can be deleted by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
