Micro-Lessons for Trauma Informed Workplaces
Each month, a TIO team member or partner will cover one topic we think is vital to implementation of trauma informed practices in the workplace. We know your time is valuable, so we designed these lessons to be only an hour, with concise takeaways offering only the essentials.
Wednesday, January 17, 2024, 10am – 11am PT
TIO is excited to launch our first Micro-Lesson of 2024. Ingrid Anderson, Ed.D., will kick us off guiding us through the topic of Regulation: Tips for Your Toolbox.
Ingrid Anderson, Ed.D., is an Associate Professor of Practice supporting Trauma Informed Oregon and coordinating the Infant Toddler Mental Health Graduate Certificate and the Indigenous First Steps Project at Portland State University. She holds a Master’s in Conflict Resolution and Peaceable Schools from Lesley University. To learn more about Ingrid, please visit her bio on our staff page.
When you attend the Micro-Lesson on Regulation, you will learn more about defining self-regulation and discuss what happens when self-regulation slips. The application activity focuses on "Choosing your Roadmap to Regulation." We look forward to you attending.

TIO Online Open House
Wednesday, January 31, 2024, 1pm – 2pm PT
TIO wants to hear from the community! Please join us for a casual conversation about what's happening with trauma informed practices across the state and come prepared with feedback for TIO leadership so we can continue to best serve Oregon. These new open houses will be held quarterly with the intention of creating time where we can listen to what is important to you all. We will have a few discussion prompts but are open to where the conversation takes us.
