The Color of Hope
This group art activity was colored with youth and practitioners at Oregon School-Based Health Alliance's April 2026 Summit. While tabling, TIO asked youth what the color of hope was. They offered a rainbow of colors and stories about hope (and the lack of hope) in their schools.
Youth need the skills, education, and opportunities to carry hope for themselves AND they need hope that the adults in power around them have their back, see them as humans with value, and usable feedback processes for reciprocal decision making.
This art could not have been completed without the youth and adult artists, along with Asia from OSBHA and Nate from YouthEra. Lots of love to them! |
