The Anti-Racism Practitioner’s Guide is designed to address the pressing need for systemic change in behavioral healthcare settings in Oregon. This comprehensive guide offers actionable steps to combat racism and support practitioners of Color and Culture, featuring sample policies, procedures, and action items. Based on extensive research and collaboration with Andrea Redeau, LPC, Clinical Supervisor, and Steffannie Roaché, MS, LPC, the guide sheds light on the pervasive nature of racism in professional environments. Discover key findings and engage in discussions on implementing helpful recommendations for creating an inclusive workplace.

Registrants should be able to attend one of the three dates. The content of each session is the same:

  • June 20th 5:00pm PT – 6:30pm PT
  • June 21st 12:00pm PT – 1:30pm PT
  • June 24th 8:30am PT – 10:00am PT

Andrea Redeau, MA, LPC

Andrea Redeau MA, LPC

Andrea Redeau, MA, LPC is a Portland-based clinician, organizational trainer, and D.E.I consultant who specializes in the areas of mental health, addiction, clinical supervision, and social justice. She holds a Master of Arts in Professional Mental Health Counseling & Addictions Studies, followed with a decade-long career in serving individuals impacted by substance abuse and mental health conditions. Her practice, Uniquely You Counseling, LLC, serves dual diagnosis clients and provides workshops in addiction studies to local agencies and community members.

Steffannie Roaché MS, LPC BIO

Steffannie Roaché MS, LPC

Steffannie Roaché, MS, LPC, is an Assistant Professor of Practice at Trauma Informed Oregon and Portland State University with a focus on workforce wellness, equity and inclusion through representation and power-sharing within systems, and the promotion of resources that support healing for communities affected by racialized and historical forms of trauma. She has over 20 years of experience providing trainings focused on resilience, trauma informed care, and culturally centered practices, and nearly 10 years of counseling within group and private practices. Steffannie has contracted with large and small organizations for workforce wellness, TIC, and DEI offerings. Her life’s passion is to work hand-in-hand with community partners to uplift hope, healing, and social justice within systems.
